This first-of-its-kind bike taxi service provider took Bangalore by storm when it entered the market and we were honoured to help create its brand identity.
We needed to establish excitement but in a clear and precise manner since Rapido was looking to penetrate the market with its innovative solution. In the age of cabs at the touch of a button, we decided to project bikes as the new way to commute within the city, given that it is faster and considerably cheaper.
To reiterate a bike as the new symbol of commuting, we created a minimalist logo of a bike. For the brand colour, we chose the easily recognisable yellow-based palette, also to represent happiness because cheap and quick navigation around the city can’t mean anything else other than sheer commuter happiness
