Blackbuck brings order to the chaotic trucking industry. Using technology to enable shippers to search and hire trucks while facilitating tracking, delivery status and more, giving them more control over the otherwise disconnected, low-tech industry. We helped establish their brand’s visual identity and design their website.
To visualise BlackBuck as the disruptor of the industry that it is, on-ground research of the logistics industry was integral. "Technology-laced truck service providers" was the bold statement we had to make and so our imagery and colours were chosen to be bolder. Iconography and micro-interactions were strategically used to impart information in an off-beat manner and keep users engaged as they navigated the website.
A design that is simple enough to be used by technology-illiterate truckers, and yet sophisticated enough for international shipping companies, was the challenge.
